ESCENARIOS MÍTICOS TELEVISIVOS EN WASHINGTON – MITHICAL TV SCENARIES IN WASHINGTON

Estados Unidos ha sido escenario de muchas películas y series de televisión tal vez sea la razón de que ciudades como Nueva York o Los Angeles se hayan mitificado. Sin embargo nosotros vamos tras la pista de escenarios en Washington.

"¿Quién mató a Laura Palmer?"

Laura Palmer es el personaje en torno al que gira la trama de la popular serie de televisión, Twin Peaks, realizada por David Lynch y Mark Frost y emitida por primera vez en el canal ABC estadounidense de 1990 a 1991.

Este pueblo sigue conservando su halo misterioso y un tanto siniestro sobre todo al atardecer cuando llegamos para ver “The Great Northern Hotel” junto a las cascadas donde se desarrolla la mayor parte de esta historia, un escenario increíble.

Al día sifuiente iremos detrás de todos aquellos escenarios donde se fueron rodando, el puente … la serrería, el café y alguno más que nos trasladan a esa mítica serie.

Nuestra siguiente parada “Cicely Alaska “,alguna que otra vez hemos soñado con vivir en este pueblo de la serie “Doctor en Alaska”, pues hemos encontrado este mítico pueblo llamado Roslyn que en realidad está en el estado de Washington y hemos plantado nuestra caravana al final en el 113 de la calle Pensivania, a dos bloques del Brick, el bar de Hollie y Shellie para pasar unos dias es en este fantástico pueblo en el que en cualquier momento esperamos encontranos al Doctor Fleishman o a Maggi o'connell saliendo de la tienda de Ruth Anne o encender la radio y escuchar al que eramos seguidores y fans Chris por la mañana de la radio K-oso Si algo especial tiene el ser viajero es que uno tiene tiempo de sentir los LUGARES de vivirlos y disfrutarlos sin prisas y este sitio nos lo está poniendo muy fácil, aquí nos dejan aparcar en una especie de parquing y quedarnos el tiempo que queramos ya nos imaginábamos que este pueblo sería diferente.

Durante los días que estamos aquí, hacemos vida cotidiana, deporte por la mañana, un poco de biblioteca y luego al Brick a probar las hamburguesas de alce y la cerveza local. El vendedor de la tienda de regalos que está instalado en la clínica del Dr. Fleishman y que intenta mantener viva con sus souvenirs esta serie. David, otro Ciceliense nos cuenta la verdad era prosperidad mi era de este pueblo, sus abuelos, Russo y alemanes se trasladaron a Roslyn para trabajar en la industria minera que como ya hemos ido viendo en otros LUGARES tiene fecha de caducidad, así que en los años 60 cuando ya no había mas que rascar el pueblo se quedó vacío y la gente se mudó a las ciudades como Seattle. Años mas tarde, los directores Joshua Brand y John Falsey volvieron a darle vida a este pueblo convirtiéndolo en la Famosa Cicely Alaska. Con toda esta información en el bolsillo, unos cuantos bañitos en el lago de al lado y unos bonitos días en Cicely seguimos ruta hacia la costa.

Además nos han salido algunos fans en el pueblo, les hemos dado nuestra pegatina y nuestro blog porque quieren seguirnos, es bonito cuando la gente te para y te desea lo mejor para nuestra aventura y te dicen que les inspiras para por lo menos hacer el intento.
