LAS VEGAS CON UN FINAL AMARGO - LAS VEGAS WITH A BITTER END.

Conducimos kilómetros y kilómetros de desierto, es un paisaje desolador pero a la vez tiene su atractivo atravesamos el desierto de Mojave, está oscureciendo y todavía quedan unos treinta kilómetros para llegar cuando vemos unos reflejos de luz a lo lejos, “ Las Vegas “ es ese sitio que no deja de sorprender desde kilómetros antes de llegar. Esta ciudad inventada en el medio del desierto tiene todo aquello que se pueda desear, es como un chute para los sentidos, sus casinos, luces, música, gente variopinta y mucho más. Hemos querido hacer una parada para recordar viejos tiempos, ya que para nosotros es muy especial porque nos casamos aquí hace trece años así que toca noche hamburguesas y budweiser .. Pasamos la noche en un parking gratuito al lado del Casino Mirage, justo a la entrada a la ciudad. Al día siguiente tenemos intención de visitar la capilla donde nos casamos y hacernos unas fotitos, Jose mira para un lado de la calle y yo para el otro pero no vemos la Capilla Candlelight, hay otras pero la ciudad ha cambiado bastante y nos tenemos lo peor, buscamos en internet la dirección exacta. Y que nos encontramos en lugar de nuestra capilla, un hotelazo y centro comercial, no puedo evitar que se me salen la lágrimas, entonces Jose me dice, la capilla no está pero nosotros sí y eso es lo que importa. Pues sí, está claro que el capitalismo se va cargando a los pequeños una pena. Salimos de Las Vegas en dirección al Utha, queremos visitar Zion canyon y conforme nos vamos acercando el paisaje es precioso, lo que me hace que se me pase el disgusto.

and what we find instead of our chapel, a huge hotel and a shopping mall, I cannot help and It brought tears to my eyes, then Jose tells me, the chapel is not here but we do and that's what matters. We Leave Las Vegas towards Utha, we want to visit Zion canyon and as we approach the landscape is so beautiful, what it helps to let the disgust go.
